Thanks to everyone who signed up to be a volunteer this year!

We’ve reached our total allotment and volunteer applications are now closed.
Volunteer Roles & Commitment

While knowledge of Canadian cinema is not a prerequisite, KCFF volunteers are enthusiastic about film and are friendly, welcoming and commited to providing an exceptional festival experience for everyone who attends. Volunteers provide on-site support at screenings, workshops and special events and work with Festival staff to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Volunteers typically work a few 4-6 hour shifts per festival (the average commitment is approximately 12 hours total).  If you’re interested in joining the team as a volunteer this year, please fill out this form to tell us a bit about yourself and your availability.

Time Counts

Time Counts is our volunteer management software and you’ll be required to validate your email before we can schedule you and send you info through the system.  If you don’t hear from us via the automated Time Counts responder, please be sure to check your junk mail or give us a shout.

Thank you!

Whether you’re a first time volunteer or a long time one, thank you for supporting the Kingston Canadian Film Festival  — we couldn’t do it without you!  We’ll be reviewing applications this winter and working to have everything in place for the fest.  Once you’ve filled out the form, our volunteer coordinator, Max, will send you our brand new Volunteer Handbook highlighting key dates, training session info, AODA requirements and more.  Of course, if you have any questions please give us a shout.  volunteer @ kingcanfilmfest dot com
