Celebrate the achievements of our third cohort of young filmmakers at this showcase for KCFF’s 18 MM Program! Our year-round workshop series arms participating youth (18 & under) with basic film theory, techniques, and equipment, and walks them through the process of short film production. Join us for the world premiere of their films!
Please note: these films are not yet rated so viewer discretion is advised.

LA SAINTE VILLE DE ST-JEANNE (d. Camille Giasson)
LA SAINTE VILLE DE ST-JEANNE is a mixed media short film, experimental in its techniques, presentation, and storytelling. The film is made to be bilingual, in both French and English. All of these elements come together into a 10 minute adventure through the main character Pascal’s hometown of St-Jeanne.
LOWKEY QUESTING (d. Harrison Campell)
Friends Matt, Ali, Goose, Hoover and Sheena band together to return a mysterious artifact to its rightful owner in hopes of a cash prize, but face many challenges on their quest, perhaps jeopardizing the mission and their friendships.

MEMORABILIA (d. London Hosier)
I used to keep 100+ photos on my wall. One night while laying in bed, I realized I didn’t know some of the people in the photos anymore. Memorabilia follows this same realization. Everyone’s moved on, and I haven’t.
PERCEPTION (d. Micah Van Dyke)
