Star of the hit CBC show KIM’S CONVENIENCE, Andrea Bang and SCHITT’S CREEK writer Winter Tekenos-Levy chat about the ups and downs of the creative process, building a career in Canada, what it is like to bring characters to life, and much more.
And even though this is her first visit to Kingston, Andrea appeared in the film ADVENTURES IN PUBLIC SCHOOL (KCFF18). Winter Tekenos-Levy grew up in Kingston and has worked on hit shows like SCHITT’S CREEK, THE BEAVERTON and THIS HOUR HAS 22 MINUTES. Both have been nominated for Canadian Screen Awards for their work.
This event will be a rare opportunity to hear the behind-the-scenes stories about the working lives of these talented Canadian artists. With more guests in town, it’s possible we’ll add a few more award-winners to the conversation – stay tuned!
