The Festival might be finished for the year, but that’s only part of what we do here at the Broom! We’re currently accepting applicants for our two year-round filmmaking workshops.
The 18 MM Program offers theoretical and practical instruction in directing, writing, and producing short films. Now in its third year, it’s open to anyone 18 or under in the Kingston area. Participation is free, but enrolment is limited; get your applications in now!
The KCFF Doc Factory screening was one of the first sellout screenings of KCFF25, and both programs went on to sell out twice! We’re now accepting applications for the second cohort of participants, and thanks to the support of our lovely sponsors and Circle of Supporters, this program is also now free. Get your applications in before April 23!
