What a wild day at the Grand! We started off with a wide-ranging discussion between Jay Baruchel and Elamin Abdelmahmoud, touching on everything from film to Canadian sovereignty. Next up was the Slaight Music Video Showcase – so many fabulous outfits on that red carpet! And then we wrapped up the night with a packed preview screening of DOOM BOOGIE!
Vibes were more chill at The Screening Room, but it was no less exciting. We welcomed Kaz Radwanski, Ben Petrie, Karen Chapman, Matt Rankin, Sook-Yin Lee, and so many more. It’s been a fantastic year for guests at the Fest; thanks to everyone who has made the trip to Kingston to hang out with us!
Tomorrow might the last day of the Fest, but there’s still lots of screenings, including much-anticipated local production STILL ALIVE IN KINGSTON (playing in conjunction with 25 Years 25 Minutes winner SINGLE WOMAN SEEKING CHILD), and our wrap-up awards show at the Broom. Admission to the party is free, but you’ll have to reserve your spot in advance as capacity is limited. See you there!
