What a spectacular end to a spectacular five days! We’re overwhelmed by the support from our amazing volunteers, our host venues, fantastic sponsors and donors, and from our engaged and enthusiastic patrons who bring the energy! Thank you so much for making our big anniversary Fest our best yet — it feels good to be 25!
Our attendance hit nearly 16,000 over the 4.5 days, an all-time high for KCFF! We welcomed the amazing Jay Baruchel, Carolyn Taylor, Jim Cuddy, Greg Keelor, Sook-Yin Lee, and over 150 other industry guests – having these folks to the Fest is what makes it really special and we’re so grateful for all these new KCFF friends.
While it’s always sad to think we have to wait an entire year for the next KCFF, we’re stoked for our homebase at the Broom Factory which stays action-packed all year long. We’ll be active this spring starting our new year-round programs (18 MM, Doc Factory, Slaight Music Video Program) and have plans for a busy summer season hosting both indoor and outdoor screenings at the Broom.
It’s great to be 25. So excited for what’s to come…
