When you turn 25, you crank up the tunes, and let the good times roll!

After a busy day of watching movies, KCFF invites you to leap into the Festival weekend with JOAN SMITH & THE JANE DOES and CARLO, both hitting The Toucan stage Feb. 28!

JOAN SMITH & THE JANE DOES:
Joan Smith & the Jane Does are leaving an indelible mark on Canada’s rock scene. Music historian/ radio host Jeff Woods describes them as ‘Queens of the Stone Age and Stevie Nicks’. Front-person Joan Smith is a Queen’s alum, for anyone keeping track of all the Kingston connections this year!

CARLO:
Perhaps best described as “….your summer BBQ soundtrack right here. Carlo is a band that brings back the best memories of Booker T and the MGs with occasional excursions into spaghetti Western”  (The Press). Keyboardist Kelsey McNulty is from Kingston and also part of the band GOOD FORTUNE (a KCFF fave!) also featured in the Slaight Music Video Program this year (you can catch the world premiere of their video on March 1 at the Slaight Music Video Showcase).

KCFF25 will be action packed from morning til midnight (well, past midnight in this case). Rest up and see you there – the countdown is on!
