Here at KCFF, every day is national Canadian film day! But, for one day a year, our friends at Reel Canada organize celebrations from coast-to-coast-to-coast, highlighting and showcasing our national cinema on a grand scale. This year, the official National Canadian Film Day is April 17 and the works of heavy-hitters like Cronenberg, Polley, Villeneuve, Egoyan, and many others will be on display.
KCFF is participating in National Canadian Film Day by highlighting films with a connection to Kingston! We’ve assembled a package of locally produced short films that were audience favourites at our recently completed festival this past winter. The screening is FREE, thanks to the support of Reel Canada! The screening will be followed by a Q&A with some of the directors/crew in attendance.
