Producer and entrepreneur Linda Schuyler is best known for co-creating and executive producing over 500 episodes of the multi-award winning Degrassi franchise. She was a founding member of the Association for Media Literacy, past Chair of the Canadian Media Producers Association, and was vice chair of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. She’s been honoured with a number of awards, including the Academy Lifetime Achievement Award for exceptional, outstanding and ongoing contributions to the Canadian television industry, and was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada. She released her memoir, The Mother Of All Degrassi, in November of 2022.
