The transformative potential of sport is just one of the subjects that come to the fore in this insightful and inspirational documentary about Africa’s first female lacrosse team by the directorial team of Janet Wells and Mwaura Timothy. Shot in 2019 and 2020, their film captures the events on and off the field as a group of young women from Kenya head to the World Championships in Peterborough, Ontario.
