Adapted from Sarah-Maude Beauchesne’s 2014 novel of the same name, COEUR DE SLUSH is a charming summer coming-of-age tale. 16 year old Billie, a hopeless romantic, works as a lifeguard at a waterpark and falls head over heels for the same boy as her “perfect” older sister. Mariloup Wolfe brings a deft but uninhibited lens to a handful of firsts for her lead: first love, first period, first heartbreak.
