27 Jul Outdoor screening at Skeleton Park – August 14
We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with the Skeleton Park Arts Festival to present a free screening of This is Ballet: Dancing Anne of Green Gables (dir. Jo Enaje) a documentary that follows Canada’s Ballet Jörgen, as they strive to bring the iconic Canadian story to new diverse audiences through an unforgettable ballet adaptation. Grab a blanket or chair, bring some snacks and experience the dancers and creative minds in action, from the seeds of the creative process in Toronto to the world premiere in Halifax.

Saturday, August 14 at 8:30 pm
McBurney (Skeleton) Park
157 Ordnance Street
This screening is free and appropriate for all ages. We ask that patrons please wear a mask and maintain a distance of 6-feet around those outside your household. In the event of inclement weather, we will cancel the screening and notify people over social media…but we’re keeping our fingers crossed it’ll be a beautiful summer evening!
Prior to the screening (5pm – 8:30pm) come and celebrate dance in our local community as the Skeleton Park Arts Festival showcases local professional dancers right in Skeleton Park! The live performances will feature the Kingston Freestyle Collective, and premiering works produced by Movement Market Collective. The event will also feature an opportunity for local youth to participate in a masterclass taught by Claude Marc Forest, and demonstrated by Inner Harbour Collective’s own Daniel Roberston-Styles.
