HOW DO I WATCH MY MOVIES?
Click “Watch Now” button on your film and enter your email address and password. You can also login on the top right hand corner and click on My Content Library and all of the films you’ve ordered will be there. If you’re having trouble connecting or playing the films, please click on help button on Eventive or contact them through the chat function. You can also try trouble-shooting by adjusting the buffering rate in the bottom right of the screening window, which might help speed things up.
HAVE A PASS?
VOTE VOTE VOTE
We’d love for you to help us crown the Limestone Financial People’s Choice winner, awarded to the feature film deemed the audience favourite at KCFF21! After you’ve finished watching a film, you can cast your vote under the watch screen on Eventive. Watching any of the short film programs? We’ll take your votes for those programs, as well! We have audience favourites for Youth, Local, and Canadian Shorts. Winners are announced March 7 at our online Awards Shows. It’s free, but you need to pre-register here.’
SUBS + CLOSED-CAPTIONS
Many of our films have the option to toggle on/off English subtitles and closed-captions — check out the full list!
We’re excited that the majority of our lineup is available internationally! However, some films do have geo-restrictions set to Ontario only and Canada only. While we have this info listed under each film, here’s a list of restrictions for quick reference.
If you’re having problems with the Eventive online platform (the platform being used to “host” KCFF), you can check out their helpful hints here. They have live chat support and can help with tech questions, as well. You can also visit the KCFF FAQ page. If you need to login to your Eventive account to see your film selections, you can do so here. Your picks should also be emailed to you for easy access. If you have general questions about the Fest, please send us an email and we’ll do or best to reply ASAP: email@example.com
LET THE MOVIE MARATHON BEGIN
A reminder that all films do have a start day/time – check the schedule here. The reason we have done this is so festival-goers can actively participate in the post-screening Q+As (or watch in “real-time”). After you’ve finished your film and want to catch the Q+A, simply click the Q+A box along the right side of the Eventive page — see photo below. However, if you miss the start time on the schedule that’s okay! You can watch at any point AFTER the start time and still see the pre-recorded Q+A. All films will stay available from their advertised start time until March 7, 11:59 pm.
