It just wouldn’t be a festival without a party or two!

We’re celebrating great Canadian films all festival long!

Opening Night at The Isabel

We’re thrilled to announce that Queen’s grad and Academy Award winner Brigitte Berman will be returning to Kingston for the Opening Night screening of her documentary THE RIVER OF MY DREAMS: A PORTRAIT OF GORDON PINSENT on Thursday, March 2 at 7 pm at The Isabel.

The film premiered at TIFF in the fall and celebrates the extraordinary career of beloved Canadian legend Gordon Pinsent with interviews from his family and closest friends including Christopher Plummer, Norman Jewison and many more.

Tickets are on sale now!

We’ve also included an option to include a ticket to the Opening Night Reception when you purchase a ticket to the film.

Receptions, Parties and Awards

KCFF is only a few days so we have to make the most of it and hold three receptions to keep the festivities going all weekend long!  Receptions are included with VIP and VIP+ passes.  On opening night, patrons with 3-Film passes can use one of the films towards the reception.
